Dezhan Tu

Dezhan Tu is an experienced researcher and scientist with a strong background in electrical and computer engineering. After completing a Bachelor's degree at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and a Master's degree in Control Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University, Dezhan Tu is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of California, Los Angeles. Professional experience includes a role as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon Web Services, focusing on dynamic KV cache compression for large visual language models, and serving as a Research Scientist at Meta since June 2025. Prior experience also includes a Research Internship at Microsoft Research Asia, where Dezhan Tu contributed to automatic data validation for large-scale data pipelines, and a Research Assistant role at UCLA, working on accelerating sparse matrix solvers on GPUs. Additionally, Dezhan Tu has experience as a Teaching Assistant, applying digital signal processing and machine learning in educational settings.
