Diego Marcano is a software engineer with experience in both intern and professional roles. Diego served as a Software Engineer Intern at Facebook from June 2020 to August 2020, contributing to the Buck Build team by integrating logging capabilities with internal services. Currently, Diego holds a position as a Software Engineer at Meta since October 2021. Prior to these roles, Diego gained research experience as a Research Assistant under the Army Educational Outreach Program in July 2017, working with a forensic entomologist, and held undergraduate research assistant positions at Washington University in St. Louis focused on multivariate time series data visualization in June 2019 and at Swarthmore College where a MATLAB colorectal cancer simulation was developed in June 2018.
