Domitille Commun

Domitille Commun is a seasoned professional in the fields of Robotics, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning, with extensive research and engineering experience. Domitille completed internships as a 3D Modelling Intern at coredia and participated in the Stage Ouvrier Program at BATEG - VINCI Construction France, as well as a Data Science Internship at INFRANUAGE. Experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory involved developing discrete-event simulations for aircraft certification and creating computer vision techniques for varied environments under sponsorships from FAA and IARPA. As a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Research Engineer at Wing, Domitille focused on drone autonomy. Currently employed as a Computer Vision Engineer at Meta and previously as a Research Engineer at Google, contributions include modeling light and heat propagation for climate change strategies and developing advanced satellite imagery processing methods. Domitille holds a PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree from CentraleSupelec.
