Donald Chan is an accomplished animator with a diverse background in the animation industry. Starting as an Animation and Layout Intern at Guru Studio in 2011, Donald progressed through various roles, including CG Animator positions at companies such as Arc Productions, Mikros Image, and Sony Pictures Imageworks, contributing to notable films like "Storks," "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," and "Vivo." From 2021 to 2023, Donald served as a Senior Animator at Pixar Animation Studios, working on projects including "Lightyear" and "Elemental." Recently, Donald joined Walt Disney Animation Studios as an Animator from November 2023 to June 2025 and continued with Meta in the same role since June 2025. Donald holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Queen's University and furthered education in animation at Sheridan College and Animsquad, as well as participating in training at iAnimate.
