Ed Monis

Ed Monis is a skilled machine learning professional with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Starting as a Machine Learning Research Assistant at NIT Srinagar, Ed focused on optimizing network throughput using ML algorithms. At Augle AI, Ed achieved state-of-the-art results by developing a palm-print identification CNN and a C++ machine learning pipeline for real-time machine vision. Subsequently, Ed contributed to the World Health Organization by building a ChatGPT-based AI tutor and an AI content creation tool for educational purposes. Currently serving as a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta, Ed is involved in developing AI agents for customer support. Additionally, Ed has experience as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science, where contributions were made to improve car damage detection through computer vision architectures.
