Edith Tretschk

Research Scientist

Edith Tretschk is an experienced researcher in computer science, with a focus on representing and reconstructing general non-rigid objects using neural models. From October 2018 to July 2023, Edith served as a PhD candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science. Prior to this, Edith worked as a research scientist at Meta from December 2020 to December 2021, contributing to the field of digital humans at Meta Reality Labs Research. Edith holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes, awarded in 2017, and completed a doctoral preparatory phase at the same institution before pursuing doctoral studies at the Max Planck Institute.
