Edward Byard

Edward Byard is an experienced telecommunications professional with a diverse background in engineering and field operations. His career began in the US Army as a SSG in the 29th Signal Battalion from April 1984 to March 1999, where Edward managed roles equivalent to civilian positions in switch, field, RF, and construction management. Following military service, Byard worked at AT&T Mobility as a NOC Engineering Manager and later at Centennial Mobile as an Ericsson MSC/BSC Engineer. From 2001 to 2004, Byard held roles at T-Mobile, progressing from Field Technician to Manager of Engineering-Field Operations until November 2024. After a period at Comcast Business as a Supervisor, Byard worked as a Network Field Technician at Lumen Technologies before joining Meta as an Engineer in September 2025.
