Elad Joseph

Elad Joseph is a Computer Vision Engineer at Meta since July 2020, with a strong background in computer vision and algorithm development. Previously, Elad served as Computer Vision Manager at Magic Leap from June 2016 to June 2020, leading a team focused on hand-tracking research, deep learning implementation, and large-scale localization projects. Earlier roles include Lead Algorithm Engineer and Algorithm Developer, where Elad launched computer vision projects for wearable eye-tracking systems and developed algorithmic pipelines for custom machine vision sensors. Career beginnings involved positions at Camtek and Microsoft, with a focus on depth sensors and advanced imaging technology. Elad holds a Master of Science in Energy Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
