Emily Gu is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in cloud software and full stack development. At Intel Corporation from August 2015 to October 2019, Emily contributed to the design and development of cloud projects and the Snap telemetry framework, leading database integration efforts in Kubernetes. Briefly serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Cisco Systems in May 2015, Emily worked on Cassandra and Spark setups and developed a continuous integration system. In a subsequent role at Cisco, Emily served as the Lead Software Engineer for the UCE Architecture team, designing a next-generation Cisco Commerce experience with a focus on various technologies. Currently, as a Full Stack Engineer at Meta since July 2020, Emily has designed a data metrics and dashboard web application to facilitate informed business decisions. Emily holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from East Carolina University.
