Emily Maples is currently the Director of Design Program Management at Meta, where they lead initiatives to enhance design processes. Previously, they served as a Design Program Manager at Palantir Technologies, where they helped establish the DesignOps organization and managed a team focused on project distribution based on individual strengths. Emily co-founded Broken Thumbs Apps, overseeing product development and the shipment of over 30 mobile applications. They hold a Master's degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
