Emily Mathur is an accomplished professional in data science and applied mathematics, with experience spanning multiple prestigious organizations. Emily served as an Information Technology Student Worker at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, where data within the axiUm Dental Software program was updated, and the Information Technology office was managed. As President of the USC Math Club, Emily founded a mentorship program and organized various academic events for math students. Emily's internship at Microsoft involved roles as Program Manager Intern and Data and Applied Scientist, contributing to Microsoft Devices. Additionally, Emily gained practical experience as a Teaching Assistant in Programming in Java at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering and as a Data Science and Modern Visualization Intern at NASA Glenn Research Center, where statistical methods and R programming were utilized to analyze photovoltaic test data. Currently, Emily is a Data Scientist at Meta.
