Emily Mu is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in research, behavioral intervention, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Bilingual & Cognition Laboratory within the SDSU Research Foundation, Emily has conducted participant testing with Mandarin-English bilinguals. Additionally, Emily works as a Registered Behavioral Technician at San Diego Applied Behavior Analysis, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans. As President of the Taiwanese Student Association at SDSU, Emily has led initiatives to foster belonging among members, including establishing a mentorship program and enhancing cross-cultural engagement through collaboration with other cultural clubs. Emily's volunteer work with Friends of Children with Special Needs focuses on raising awareness about neurodiversity and teaching art techniques to children with autism. With a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Diego State University and pursuing a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at San José State University, Emily demonstrates a strong commitment to the field of communication sciences.
