Eran Weiss

Eran Weiss is a highly experienced mechanical design engineer with a comprehensive background spanning over two decades in aerospace and semiconductor industries. Starting as a Tool Design Engineer at Israel Aerospace Industries, Eran specialized in designing assembly line tools and jigs, and later transitioned to structural design for commercial aircraft. Following this, Eran held senior roles at Applied Materials, focusing on robotics and vacuum robot design, leading teams and optimizing designs for wafer handling processes. Experience also includes a position as Senior Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer at Cepton, where Eran facilitated the transition of LIDAR sensors into mass production, and currently serves as a Senior Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at Meta. Education includes a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
