Eric Walden is an experienced professional in the field of machine learning and software engineering, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Baylor University. Walden began a career as a Research Assistant at Baylor University, conducting experiments on radar amplifier components before advancing to General Motors, where contributions included building and deploying natural language processing applications for warranty claim incident classification and serving as a backend engineer. After two years at Optum as a Senior AI/ML Engineer and Lead AI/ML Engineer for a Conversational AI Platform, Walden currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Meta, starting in April 2025.
