Eric Yi

Eric (Congrui) Yi has extensive experience in machine learning and data science, particularly within prominent technology companies. Eric served as an Applied Scientist and later as a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon from July 2019 to September 2022, where responsibilities included end-to-end design and implementation of machine learning solutions for personalization and recommender systems, as well as leading cross-functional initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Scientist at Expedia, Inc. focused on hotel search personalization and pricing optimization, and a research internship at AT&T Labs. Currently, Eric is a Senior Research Scientist at Meta, specializing in recommendation systems. Eric's educational background includes a PhD in Statistics from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Sun Yat-Sen University.
