Eric Young is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in ASIC design and architecture. Beginning a career at AMD as an ASIC Design Engineer from September 1996 to October 2000, Eric advanced to a Senior ASIC Design Engineer role at PMC-Sierra, now Microsemi, until October 2001. From January 2002 to February 2014, Eric served as a Senior Architect in ASIC Engineering at ViXS Systems Inc. Following this, Eric worked as a Senior IP Design Engineer at Apple from February 2014 to November 2022. Currently, Eric holds the position of Graphics/Silicon Architect at Meta, starting in December 2022. Eric holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from McGill University.
