Eugene Lee

Eugene Lee is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product design and development across various organizations. Eugene began the career at NYU as a Teaching Fellow in 2005, instructing students in 3D CAD using SolidWorks. In 2006, Eugene joined Symbol Technologies Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer, followed by a significant tenure at Motorola Mobility from 2007 to 2012 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Special Mobile Product Division, where multiple device form factors were successfully designed and shipped. Subsequently, Eugene advanced to Microsoft, serving as Director of Mechanical Engineering and Senior Lead Mechanical Engineer until mid-2022, where contributions were made to notable products in the Surface lineup. Currently, Eugene holds the position of Product Design Engineering Manager for AR Devices at Meta. Eugene holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from New York University and has supplemented education in Metal Sculpture at the School of Visual Arts.
