Faron Kang

Faron Kang is an experienced AI Product Manager at Meta since January 2014, where Faron oversees the product strategy for the AI platform that enhances personalization and ad relevance, and implements large language model deployments. Faron has successfully translated advanced machine learning research into features utilized by billions of users. Prior to this role, Faron served as Senior Product Manager and Product Manager at Meta, focusing on applied AI systems and internal ML workflow tools. Before joining Meta, Faron was the AI Product Lead at Scale AI, directing the development of AI data platform products supportive of natural language processing and computer vision models. Faron holds a Master of Business Administration in Technology & Product Management from Stanford University and a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Malaya.
