Fei Sun

Fei Sun has a substantial background in software engineering and research, with experience spanning various prestigious companies including Meta, Alibaba Group, Facebook, Cadence Design Systems, and Tensilica. At HYSTA, Fei served as IT Manager, overseeing website development for annual conferences. As a Principal Engineer at Tensilica, Fei developed the TIE compiler and related libraries, contributing significantly to project implementations. At Cadence Design Systems, Fei led a team focused on architecting the TIE compiler for the Xtensa processor. In recent roles at Facebook and Meta, Fei has advanced work in applied machine learning, particularly within the Caffe2/PyTorch framework and cutting-edge AR/VR product development, while also researching the future foundations of AI technologies at Alibaba Group. Educational credentials include a BS in Microelectronics/Computer Science from Peking University and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Princeton.
