Fei Tian

Fei Tian is an accomplished researcher in the field of machine learning with extensive experience at leading technology companies. Starting as an Engineering Intern at Microsoft Research Asia from October 2010 to August 2011, Fei contributed to the development of an SVM-based text classifier for Microsoft Office SharePoint. Subsequently, Fei served as a Senior Researcher in the Machine Learning Group at Microsoft Research Asia, focusing on topics such as AutoML, Neural Machine Translation, and deep learning. During a joint PhD program, Fei worked as a Research Intern at Microsoft Research from June 2012 to June 2016, specializing in deep learning for text understanding and learning theory. Currently, Fei holds the position of Senior Staff Research Scientist at Meta, where work centers on machine learning within the Ads Core Machine Learning organization. Fei obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China, graduating in the top 5%, and continued to complete a Ph.D. in the same field.
