Fei Ye is an experienced engineering leader with a background in trust and safety solutions, software engineering, and data products. Most recently, Fei Ye served as the Head of Trust and Safety Engineering at OpenSea from March 2022 to March 2023, where responsibilities included building a team to develop data foundations and tools to enhance trust and safety on the NFT marketplace. Prior to OpenSea, positions included Senior Staff Software Engineer at Meta, Software Engineer and Engineering Manager at Google, where Fei Ye focused on developing risk management systems and combating fraudulent user engagement, earning recognition for contributions to Google's SDN network. Fei Ye's career also includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at X, the moonshot factory, contributing to Project Loon. Fei Ye holds a PhD from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Engineering from Tsinghua University.
