Feng (Forrest) Wang has extensive experience in software engineering and management, with a strong focus on machine learning and multimedia solutions. At Microsoft from 2007 to 2011, Wang contributed as a Software Engineer on the Exchange Server Team, Lync/Skype Team, and later as a Senior Software Engineer on Bing Multimedia Search, enhancing user engagement with image and video search. At Meta from March 2016 to February 2019, Wang progressed from Software Engineer to Tech Lead Manager, focusing on end-to-end machine learning solutions to support the growth of Facebook’s small business market and overseeing the video recommendation efforts in FB Reels. Currently, since July 2023, Wang serves as Engineering Manager for Monetization GenAI at Meta, leading teams to innovate advertising experiences using large language models.
