Fengting Yang

Fengting Yang is currently an AI Research Scientist at Meta, a position held since June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Penn State University from August 2017 to June 2022, integrating geometric knowledge into deep 3D vision methods. Fengting worked as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon during two separate periods in 2020 and 2021, focusing on 3D data processing, 3D reconstruction, and optimizing depth estimation methods. Additionally, a research internship at ByteDance in 2019 involved developing a weakly supervised method for single-view plane recovery. Fengting holds a PhD in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University (2017-2022), a Master's degree in Instrument Science and Technology from Tianjin University (2014-2017), and a Bachelor's degree in Measuring and Control Technology from Tianjin University (2010-2014).
