Francesca (Siyin) Wang is a skilled software engineer currently working at Meta under the WhatsApp Access team since March 2024. Prior experience includes a research assistant role at the University of Washington's NAPE Center from October 2022 to August 2023 and a software engineer internship at Apple, focused on accessibility automation, from June to September 2022. Francesca has also contributed as a conference speaker and advocate for educational initiatives involving the BBC Micro:bit while engaging with gender equality in computer science through workshops. Additional roles include serving as a teacher at Patheon Education (Singapore) and as an ambassador for IMDA, along with participation in Google's CS Research Mentorship Program.
