François Fleuret

François Fleuret is a highly accomplished researcher and academic with extensive experience in the field of machine learning. Currently, François serves as a Research Scientist at Meta within the FAIR / Core Learning and Reasoning team since November 2024. Prior to this, François held a position as Full Professor at the University of Geneva and has been affiliated with École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne in various capacities, including Adjunct Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher since September 2019. François was previously a Senior Researcher and head of the Machine Learning Group at Idiap Research Institute. Additional roles include Adjunct Faculty Member at EPFL, Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago, and Researcher at Inria. François is also a co-founder and member of the Board of Directors at Neural Concept. Education was acquired at INRIA from 1995 to 1999.
