Gal Cohen is a Deep Learning Researcher with experience at AI21 Labs from November 2023 to May 2025 and currently at Meta's FAIR since April 2025. Prior to these roles, Gal held multiple positions at Israeli Military Intelligence, including Head of Data Analysis Team, Head of Intelligence Analysis Team, Data Scientist, and Intelligence Analyst from May 2017 to October 2018. Additionally, Gal served as an NLP Researcher at Tabnine from November 2021 to November 2023. Gal holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University (2020 - 2022) and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Bar-Ilan University.
