Gallil Maimon

Gallil Maimon has a comprehensive background in computer science, with a focus on data science and research in various domains including computer vision, signal processing, and natural language processing. Maimon served as a Cadet in the Talpiot Program from July 2015 to August 2018, followed by a role as a Data Scientist in the Israel Defense Forces from August 2018 to March 2021, where responsibilities included end-to-end operational deep learning research. Currently, Maimon is a Research Scientist Intern at Meta, starting in March 2025, and has advanced to the position of Data Science Team Lead, overseeing R&D efforts and mentoring a team of research officers. Maimon is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, expected to complete in 2026, and also holds a Master of Science in Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
