Gang Chen

Gang (Frank) Chen possesses extensive experience in software engineering and management, having held key positions at prominent companies including Amazon and Meta. As a Software Engineering Manager at Amazon, Gang led the development of DeepLens and advanced computer vision products, leveraging expertise in deep learning and IoT. At ASML, Gang served as an Engineering Manager, where significant contributions included launching a product that reduced chip simulation times and receiving multiple prestigious awards for innovation. Gang's entrepreneurial venture as Co-Founder and CTO of Ridely.us focused on mobile application development for ride-sharing. Currently, in the role of Engineering Manager at Meta, responsibilities include overseeing machine learning applications in virtual and augmented reality. Gang holds advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. from Cornell University, and a BS from the University of Science and Technology of China.
