Gang Yang

Gang Yang is an experienced professional with a strong background in quantitative analysis and machine learning. At Barclays from January 2018 to October 2020, Gang served as a front office quant in the credit team, contributing to the development of the next-generation analytical library and risk engine. Following this, from October 2020 to June 2023, Gang worked as a software engineer at Amazon, where responsibilities included designing and launching an automated machine learning pipeline and a data pipeline to create a product relationship dataset for 20 marketplaces, as well as launching a global recommendation widget. Currently, Gang is employed as a machine learning engineer at Meta AI, starting in March 2024. Educational qualifications include a BS in Math and Physics from Tsinghua University and a graduate degree in Computational Physics from Penn State University, with a notable GPA of 3.98/4.
