Gary Luo is a technology professional with a strong background in software engineering, data science, and research. As a Co-Founder of Fika Chat, Gary contributed to the development of a language learning application powered by LLMs, focusing on user interface and experience. Prior experience includes working as a Data Scientist at Microsoft, where Gary implemented machine learning solutions, and as a Researcher at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where Gary developed computer vision solutions. Additional roles include an Android Developer position at Facebook, where Gary enhanced AR/VR capabilities, and a Software Engineer position at Laserfiche, where Gary created a search platform. Gary’s education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College. Currently, Gary contributes as a Software Engineer at Meta and has recently worked at Spatial Front, Inc.
