Gene Albert

Gene Albert is an experienced security professional with a robust background in executive protection and security operations. Currently serving as the Executive Protection Manager at Facebook and the Head of Global Security Protective Services Operations at Meta since 2020, Gene has previously worked with the US Department of State's Diplomatic Security Service, where responsibilities included managing security for American personnel in high-threat environments and investigating federal criminal violations. Gene's expertise also extends to international security management, having served as the International Security Operations Manager at Ziff Brothers Investments and overseeing protection for ultra-high net worth families. Gene holds a Master’s Degree in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Robert Morris University, complemented by ongoing professional education in security leadership.
