Geoff Thomas has extensive experience in data center operations and engineering, having held various roles across prominent technology companies. From April 2016 to November 2018, Geoff served as a Data Center Capacity Engineer at Facebook. Prior to that, a Senior Data Center Technician position was held at Yahoo! from November 2010 to July 2013, and from July 2013 to April 2016, Geoff worked as an Engineer in Data Center Ops Tools & SE at Yahoo. In December 2022, Geoff took on the role of Global Capacity Lead Engineer and Capacity Planning Engineering Specialist at Meta. Earlier career experience includes working as an Associate Test Engineer at ATTO Technology from September 2001 to October 2010. Geoff holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Buffalo State College and an Associate's degree in Electronics Technology from ITT Technical Institute.
