George Lan possesses extensive experience in technical program management and analytics, with a focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning. At Meta, George currently serves as Manager of Technical Program Management, having previously held multiple roles at Amazon, including Principal Technical Program Manager for Alexa AI. Prior to Amazon, George directed people analytics at hiQ Labs and worked as a research assistant at MIT Sloan School of Management. Earlier career experience includes roles as a strategy analyst and (senior) analytical product manager at Elsevier. George holds a Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an A.B. from Princeton University.
