Goeun Sim

Goeun Sim is a skilled professional with extensive experience in materials chemistry and research. Currently serving as the Waveguide Technology Verification Manager at Meta, Goeun has previously held roles such as Advanced Materials Researcher at Meta, where leadership in low refractive index material development for augmented reality glass was a key focus. At HP, Goeun worked as an R&D Chemist, innovating thermal inkjet ink formulations and acquiring in-depth knowledge of various ink components. Additional experience includes postdoctoral positions at Cornell University and The University of Tokyo, as well as an undergraduate research assistant role at The University of British Columbia.
