Gregory McIntyre

Gregory McIntyre is a senior optics and photonics leader with extensive experience in developing complex optical platforms. Previously, McIntyre served as a Captain in the US Army Corps of Engineers, where they managed logistical support for thousands of combat engineers. They held the role of Director of Advanced Patterning at imec, overseeing significant advancements in lithography and expanding their department considerably. McIntyre also contributed as a Senior Engineer at IBM, focusing on lithography tools, and co-founded COMMANDCAD, INC., which was later acquired by Cadence Design Systems. Currently, they work at Meta in senior management roles related to holographic and polarization optics.
