Han Wang

Han Wang has extensive experience in architecture and engineering roles across various technology companies, including positions as Principal Architect and Senior Client Product Manager at IEIT Systems and as Lead of OpenRMC at the Open Compute Project Foundation since July 2019. At the Open Compute Project Foundation, Han Wang manages community efforts to develop an open-source rack management software and hardware ecosystem, focusing on transitioning rack management to a cloud-based system and optimizing power management through AI. Other notable roles include positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Meta, along with engineering contributions at Dell EMC and Hitachi Global Storage Technologies. Han Wang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and has additional degrees and certifications from prominent institutions, including Beihang University, the University of California, Berkeley, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
