Heather Moore is an experienced legal and policy professional with a diverse background spanning various prominent organizations. Moore began a career in the legal field as a Law Clerk for the New York State Unified Court System, followed by serving as Senior Staff Attorney at the Office of the Appellate Defender. From 2015 to 2018, Moore worked as Policy Counsel for the United States Attorneys' Offices before transitioning to Columbia Law School as Associate Director of International Policy & Research. At Meta, Moore initially led Civic Governance as Director and currently serves as Sr. Director of Strategy & Insights, contributing to the development and governance of the Facebook Oversight Board. In addition, Moore is actively involved as a Board Member for the Montclair Public Library Foundation. Moore holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Spelman College, a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law, and completed the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth.
