Heidi Kumar is an accomplished software engineer with a diverse background in technology and research. Heidi began a career as a Peer English Tutor at Skyline College from January 2011 to May 2012, followed by an internship as a PIFSC Summer Research Intern at NOAA in June 2014. After completing the Advanced Software Engineering Immersive Program at Hack Reactor in 2015, Heidi worked as a Software Engineer at Tradeshift from February 2016 to March 2018, then continued at Credit Karma until July 2019. Subsequent roles at Meta included Software Engineer from June 2020 to August 2021 and further advancement to Senior Software Engineer. Currently, Heidi serves as a Staff Software Engineer at Meta starting in August 2024. Heidi's academic qualifications include a Marine Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Interdisciplinary Studies from Skyline College.
