Hossein Amirkhani

Hossein Amirkhani is an accomplished researcher and engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and natural language processing. As an Assistant Professor at the University of Qom from March 2016 to September 2022, Hossein established the first data mining and machine learning laboratory and supervised over 25 graduate students. Hossein served as a Natural Language Processing Researcher at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences and the Tehran Institute for Advanced Studies, focusing on transformer-based models and dataset biases, respectively, and has contributed to significant publications in the field. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Meta and a Machine Learning Lead at Novelna, Hossein has led the development of advanced machine learning pipelines and strategies for diverse applications, including cancer detection and document parsing. Educationally, Hossein earned a degree from Amirkabir University of Technology, graduating with the top rank among peers.
