Hossein Moradian, Ph.D., currently serves as a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta since December 2024. Previously, Moradian held the position of Deep Learning Engineer at E Ink Corporation from August 2021 to November 2024, and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at UC Irvine from September 2016 to September 2021, focusing on optimization algorithms, machine learning, and control over distributed systems. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Engineer at the Center of Excellence in Design, Robotics, and Automation (CEDRA) from February 2014 to June 2016, where Moradian conducted research on algorithm design and control of dynamical systems. Moradian earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine in 2020, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2014 and 2011, respectively.
