Hui Chen

Hui Chen is an experienced engineer specializing in machine learning and biometrics, with a career spanning multiple technology firms. At Samsung Semiconductor Inc, Hui served as a Sr. Staff Engineer, developing algorithms for deep learning networks on resource-limited devices. At Syntiant Corp, Hui trained commercial wake word models and created a deep-speech based forced aligner tool. Currently, as a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta, Hui is engaged in applied research. Prior roles include Sr. Principal Research Engineer at OT-MORPHO and Principal Research Engineer at Safran Morpho, where Hui focused on improving biometric systems.
