Hunter Schafer is an experienced software engineer with a solid background in both industry and academia. Schafer began a career at Redfin as a Software Engineer Intern, focusing on internal tools for real estate agents, before progressing through internships at Sift and Socrata, which involved developing machine learning infrastructure and tools for public dataset search, respectively.
