Ian Shepherd

Ian Shepherd is an experienced data scientist and analyst with a robust background in marketing and analytics. Starting a career as a Research Analyst at GEICO, Ian contributed to business planning and marketing metrics analysis before advancing to the role of Marketing Coordinator. Ian continued to build expertise in data science roles at various companies, including A.I. Sports, where predictive models for soccer leagues were developed, and at Informatica, where significant reporting hubs and dashboards were designed. Ian's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland, as well as a Master of Science in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Currently, Ian serves as a Lead Data Scientist at Cox Communications and has held a Data Scientist position at Meta.
