Ishita Kumar

Ishita Kumar holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where relevant experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for Physics I for Engineering Students. Since November 2019, Ishita has been a RTC Fellow at Rewriting the Code and has completed multiple internships, including software engineering positions at Uber, Facebook, and Tektronix. At Uber, involvement included working with the Autonomous Vehicles Maps Workflow team, while at Facebook, contributions were made as a Software Engineering Intern. Currently, as a Software Engineer at Meta, Ishita focuses on developing and shipping products for platforms such as Instagram Stories, Reels Ads, and Facebook Creators. Additionally, a summer internship at Navicon involved data science and business development tasks, and at Tektronix, Ishita developed a signal integrity characterization system on FPGA.
