Ivan Dimitrov is an experienced machine learning engineer with a strong background in natural language processing and computer vision. At Cornell University, Ivan conducted significant research in convolutional sequence-to-sequence learning for abstractive summarization and low-shot learning for object detection. Ivan gained teaching experience as a graduate teaching assistant for various computer science courses. Ivan further developed expertise in perception engineering at Aurora, focusing on autonomous trucking, and in autonomy at Uber Advanced Technologies Group, where contributions included building multi-task models for object detection and semantic segmentation. Currently, Ivan serves as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Meta, working on AI for neural interfaces.
