Ivan Slobozhan

Ivan Slobozhan is a skilled professional with a strong background in data science and machine learning. Having completed a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Tartu, Ivan began a career involving various roles in notable organizations. At Rakuten Institute of Technology, Ivan developed a machine learning pipeline for fraud detection. Subsequent positions include working as a Research Engineer and Senior Research Engineer at SQUAD, where applied computer vision techniques were utilized. As an Applied Scientist and later Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon, Ivan contributed to significant projects before taking on the role of Machine Learning Engineer at Meta. Additionally, Ivan's experience includes developing a hybrid recommender system and a money laundering detection algorithm during a joint research project with a Swedish bank.
