Jack Rae is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and data science. Jack began a career as a Data Scientist at Quora from June 2013 to June 2014 and then progressed to DeepMind, where Jack held multiple roles including Research Engineer, Staff Research Scientist, and Senior Staff Research Scientist from August 2014 to November 2019. Following this, Jack worked as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI from June 2022 to June 2023 before joining Google as a Principal Research Scientist in July 2023. Currently, Jack serves as an AI Research Scientist at Meta, starting in June 2025. Jack's academic background includes a Master of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Bristol, a Master of Science in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from UCL.
