Jack Yao

Jack Yao possesses extensive experience in hardware development and engineering, with a focus on power and signal integrity. From January 2007 to May 2016, Jack worked at Qualcomm as a Staff Engineer/Manager in the Power and Signal Integrity Group, specializing in EM simulation, system power integrity, and PCB design strategies. Jack briefly served as an iPhone System Engineering Manager at Apple in early 2020, leading efforts in testing and optimizing SoC power and performance for iPhones. Following this role, Jack was a Hardware Engineer at Google, concentrating on SI/PI analysis and validation for Nest products. Currently, since October 2021, Jack has been contributing to Meta as a Hardware Development Engineer in the Wearables product validation team, focusing on smart glasses product line validation and electrical performance assessment. Jack holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
