James Aldrich

James Aldrich is an experienced mechanical design professional with a BA in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Initial experience includes a Mechanical Development Co-op at Mercury Marine where design and testing of outboard engines were conducted, followed by a Mechanical Engineering Design role at Research In Motion involving product design for the Blackberry Curve smartphones. Additional roles include Mechanical Engineering Intern at Plexus focusing on Lean Six Sigma projects, Senior Product Design Engineer at Amazon Lab126 leading design efforts for the Amazon Fire Phone and other unreleased products, and a progression to Product Design Engineer Manager at Meta overseeing the Quest Pro and Quest 1 VR Headsets.
