James Allen has extensive experience in technology and data center operations, having held various positions at leading companies. From February to November 1994, James worked as a Software Quality Assurance Tech at Computer Curriculum Corporation. James transitioned to Symantec Corp, serving in Software Quality Assurance from 1995 to 2000, and later worked at Yahoo! Inc. and Yahoo! from 2004 to 2006 as a Site Operations Technical Yahoo and Data Center Manager. In November 2007, James became a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer at Yahoo! Inc., with a focus on designing and building large-scale data center infrastructure until April 2008, when James joined Facebook. During time at Facebook from April 2008 to June 2011, James progressed from Data Center Tech to Site Operations Systems Engineer. Currently, since March 2020, James has been employed at Meta as an Operations Integration Engineer. Academically, James holds degrees in IT Network Administration from American InterContinental University, Software Programming from Portland Community College, and General Education with a focus on German and Theater Arts from Humboldt State University.
